1. Why should I choose handmade soap?
Many commercial soap products contain detergents, foaming agents, and artificial fragrances that can lead to dry and irritated skin. Our handmade soap retains natural glycerin, a skin softener that attracts moisture. We eliminate unnecessary additives, ensuring your skin enjoys a natural moisturizing experience.
2. Can I use your soap if I have sensitive skin?
Absolutely. Our soap is gentle and moisturizing, carefully curated with sensitive skin in mind. We meticulously select each ingredient and avoid artificial additives. Our Naked bar is an excellent option to start with for sensitive skin.
3. What is the size of your soap?
Our soap bars are handcrafted, so slight variations may occur. Typically, they measure around 2.8 x 3 inches in length and width, with a thickness of 1.2 inches. The average weight of our soap bars is approximately 5.3 ounces.
4. How can I make my soap last longer?
Using a draining soap dish is recommended to prevent soap from becoming soggy and to prolong its lifespan. Check out our soap-preserving soap dishes for optimal results!
5. What if my soap has imperfections?
Our soap is individually crafted and cut by hand, making each bar unique. Colors and designs may slightly differ between batches, but rest assured, the consistent quality of our soap remains unchanged.
6. Why is there white residue on my soap?
Occasionally, you may notice white ash, known as soda ash, on your soap. This is a natural occurrence in soap making and does not affect the soap's quality. It will disappear after the first use.
7. Why is lye used in handmade soap?
Lye, or Sodium Hydroxide, is an essential component of soap making. It facilitates the transformation of oils into soap and fully evaporates during the curing process, ensuring the soap is safe for use.
8. What is the difference between essential oils and fragrance oil?
Essential oils are derived from plants and offer therapeutic benefits. Fragrance oils are synthetically produced and may contain an array of unidentified ingredients. If you're sensitive to fragrances, essential oils are a preferable option.
9. What are your business, processing & shipping hours?
Our business operates from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are closed on weekends. Orders are processed and shipped during these hours, with a standard processing time of 2 to 3 business days.
10. What if my package is delayed or arrives damaged?
